God has called us to "go and make disciples." We do this this through Sunday School, Discipleship, and other teaching opportunities. The Scripture is full of commands to mature and grow up in the faith. In Hebrews 6:1 we are told to "leave the elementary teaching about Christ and go on to maturity." Discipleship is an ongoing, lifelone process.

This is how we demonstrate to the world God's love; by the way we love one another. Acts 2:45 we see how the New Testament Church divided the money and then gave it to anyone who needed it. We believe that the wold needs to hear from the church, and the church needs to influence the world.

Worship is more than the simple act of celebrating God's presence, it is also honoring Him with our transformed lifestyle. Romans 12:1-2 we are told, "Since God has shown us great mercy, I beg you to offer your lives as a living sacrifice to Him, which is the spiritual way for you to worship. Do not change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but be changed within..." Worship of God is more than just singing to Him on Sunday; it is a way of life, a lifestyle.

Acts 2:44-47 is a great picture of fellowship. Like Ephesians 2:19 we are "citizens together with God's holy people." You belong to God's family. At Eastside Baptist we choose to fellowship with each other in our local church, Magic Valley Baptist Association, Utah/Idaho SBC, the Southern Baptist Convention, and other Evangelicals.

We share the good news of Jesus Christ with those who do not yet have a personal relationship with Him. In Acts 1:8 Jesus' last words remind us that we are called to be "His witnesses..." in every part of the world. Evangelism, like worship, is not a program it is a lifestyle. That lifestyle includes attempting to live a life yielded to God, being Baptized, observing the Lord's Supper, and by telling others of His grace.
